Hello Ladies,

Welcome to the first installment of the “Chef It Up” Series—today we’ll be teaching you how to make the best chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever taste, and get this, it will only take you about 20 minutes!

Let’s Get Started...

 

  1. Preheat Your Oven To 350 degrees

 

You’ll want to start by preheating your oven, this way once you finish your mixture you could put it straight into the oven.

 

  1. Gather All of Your Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt (I recommend sea salt, but table salt works too)
  • 3-4 cups of all-purpose flour (depending on how thick you want your dough)
  • 2-3 cups of chocolate chips (however many you prefer)
  • Walnuts (this is optional, but I totally recommend)

 

  1. Start Combing Your Ingredients

 

  • In one bowl put your butter (melted), brown sugar, white sugar into a bowl and mix it up until you get a consistency you like.
  • Then slowly add your eggs and vanilla and beat it into your mixture.
  • Now add your baking soda and salt until it completely dissolves.
  • Lastly, add your all-purpose flour and chocolate chips—mix in slowly.

 

  1. Grease Your Pan & Place Your Cookies

 

You could use any non-stick cooking spray or standard oil to grease your pan. After this, take a spoon full of dough (depending how big you want each cookies) and place them on 1-2 inches apart.

  1. Put Them In the Oven

 

Let your cookies bake for about 10 minutes in your already pre-heated oven—they made need an extra minute or two. Keep checking up on them, you don’t want them to burn.

 

  1. Let Them Cool Off & Enjoy

Give your cookies an additional 10 minutes to cool, pour a glass of milk, and enjoy your cookies.
