Hello Ladies,

 You guys have been loving our chef it up series—so, today we’re bringing you homemade ice cream. This is super simple and tons of fun. Plus, it’s a lot cheaper than the ice cream you’d get from the grocery store.

We’ve decided to go with an ultra-smooth cookie’s & cream, but if you want to do something else just swap out your ingredients and keep the vanilla base.

So, let’s get started:

 

  1. Gather Your Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups of sugar
  • 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (preferably Oreo’s)

 

 

  1. Combine Your Ingredients

Put your milk, cream, and sugar into a pan, once you’ve achieved a medium boil place it into a bowl and let it chill out in the fridge.

 

  1. Crush Up Your Cookies & Add in 

Now take your cookies, crush them up to your liking, and add it to your creamy concoction.

 

  1. Put it In The Freezer

After adding your cookie chunks, put your mixture into and airtight container and place it into the freezer overnight.

 

  1. Enjoy It  

Once it’s frozen to your likin, it’s time to take out some spoons, add your toppings (I prefer hot fudge), and dig in.
